The lunar nodes — the north node (Rahu) and south node (Ketu) — are not planets but mathematical points where the Moon's orbital path crosses the ecliptic (the apparent path of the Sun). They are always exactly opposite each other in the birth chart, forming an axis that many astrologers consider the most important indicator of karmic direction and soul purpose.

Your north node sign is listed in your birth chart (natal chart). If you don't have your chart, free calculators at astro.com and similar sites will calculate it. Remember: your north node and south node are always in opposite signs. If your north node is in Aries, your south node is in Libra. If in Taurus, south node in Scorpio.
